Air India first flight cover- Moscow Delhi return flight 15th August 1958

Air India flew its first flight to Moscow from Delhi on the 14th August 1958 the flight reached Moscow on the 15th and returned back on the 18th. The official cover was issued for the Delhi Moscow by Air India but none for the return flight. Here are some Private flight covers for the return flight made .

Here you can see two types of dates in the cancel which is in the Russian language, one is the 15th which is fro the flight arrival to Moscow and the 18th for the flight back from Moscow to Delhi. Two flight covers show a Delhi arrival cancel for the 19th.
